How do you speak love?
Coined by Dr. Gary Chapman, the 5 Love Languages describe the primary channels through which human beings feel deeply valued and emotionally secure.
Words of Affirmation
Heartfelt words, verbal appreciation & spoken empathy
You experience intimacy and emotional security most vividly through expressed words—both spoken and written. Sincere compliments, verbal gratitude, unexpected notes, and direct affirmations validate your worth and remind you that you are seen, valued, and deeply cherished.
Quality Time
Undivided attention, shared presence & meaningful engagement
You feel most connected when you and your partner share undivided, intentional presence. It is not simply occupying the same room; it is eye contact, active listening, sharing a laugh, and engaging in activities without the intrusion of screens, chores, or multitasking.
Receiving Gifts
Visual symbols of love, thoughtfulness & remembrance
You view gifts as tangible, enduring symbols of thought, effort, and affection. It has nothing to do with materialism or monetary value; rather, it is the realization that someone saw something, remembered your unique quirks or stories, and chose to bring you a token of their affection.
Acts of Service
Ease, thoughtful effort & actions that speak louder than words
You feel most deeply loved when your partner eases the burdens of daily life through proactive, helpful actions. Whether it is cooking a meal, fixing something broken, filling up your gas tank, or taking on a tedious chore without being asked, these acts communicate devotion through tangible effort.
Physical Touch
Warmth, physical closeness, soothing contact & safe touch
You experience emotional security, intimacy, and connection through physical proximity and affectionate contact. Holding hands, back rubs, spontaneous hugs, sitting close on the sofa, and passionate embraces communicate love with an immediacy that words alone cannot capture.
Understanding the Assessment
How does the forced-choice pairwise scoring work?
Rather than asking abstract rating questions (where people tend to rate everything as important), our test pairs every love language against every other love language twice across 20 real-world scenarios. This reveals your true emotional priorities.
Can I have more than one primary love language?
Yes! Many individuals have close primary and secondary languages (e.g. 35% Words of Affirmation and 30% Quality Time). Our results dashboard highlights both your Primary and Secondary languages.
Is any personal data stored on external servers?
No. The assessment runs 100% on your device. When you share or compare results with a partner, your scores are safely encoded directly inside the share link with zero database tracking.
